Kristian's practice focuses on resolving construction disputes on major projects across the mining, energy, and infrastructure sectors. His experience extends to international arbitration and all major forms of dispute resolution, as well as assisting owners and contractors with contract and claims management. 

Kristian's recent experience includes:
- a SIAC arbitration relating to the construction of an iron ore mine in Western Australia; 
- a number of disputes arising from the supply of mining and handling equipment fabricated in China for Australian resources projects, including an UNCITRAL arbitration in Singapore; 
- acting for owners and contractors in statutory adjudications relating to mining and LNG projects.

Kristian is a Legal Counsel of John Holland, having previously been a member of Jones Day's Global Disputes team. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb), a Councillor of CIArb Australia, and Chair of the CIArb Australia Young Member's Group. He has a Masters degree in Construction Law and Dispute Resolution from King's College London.
